CGM block making machines are designed to make vibro-pressed hollow blocks, interlocking blocks, pavers, a variety of special products and custom made-designs. CGM interchangeable moulds are designed to meet any customers’ need and specifications.

Custom made plants

CGM design, develop and build custom made plants to meet the clients requirments. The plant is designed to automate as much as possible all the production line base on customers need.

up to 100 Blocks per shift

Patented innovative retaining wall system both in terms of building and production. With CGM machine and the Gblock system it is possible to produce up to 100 blocks per 8 hours shift with just 3 operators. An innovation in the retaining block system.

Sixty years of

1962

 

CGM is founded by Francesco Cavazzuti in a Garage in the city of Lugo Italy

1963

 

CGM starts the business by doing carpentry and battery moulds for the concrete business

1970

 

CGM developed the first prototype of egg layer machine

1972

 

CGM acquires 2 new partners in the company: Luigi Grilli and Pietro Mariani

1975

CGM develops the first prototype TA Model; the system that  is going to become a LANDMARK in the concrete industry and that is going to start a new generation of machine that will revolutionize the market

1977

 

CGM moves from a garage to the new headquarter

1978

The technology becomes very successful and so the need of the customers. New sizes are developed and produced.

CGM obtains Italian patent for “vibrating machine  for cementitious materials with continuous demoulding”, from where everything

Moulds construction changes: from simple boxes to complex machines

CGM acquires 2 new partners in the company: Mariangela Tassinari  and Andrea Cavazzuti future CEO and President

1994

 

CGM is present in the most important international exhibitions in Italy confirming its leadership in the development of concrete technologies

1996

CGM starts its international adventure selling in Spain, France, Portugal

1998

 

CGM  creates a new technical office in order to satisfy all the increasing customer requests

2002

 

CGM launches the TE model: innovative  new machine for heavy duty products

2005

 

CGM develops the first machine with automatic troweling device

2008

 

CGM develops the first semi automated plant for concrete covers and V draining channels using the  TC2 model

2009

 

CGM develop the first automated machine using TC2 H1300 model. The project has been rejected by CGM because too slow compared to semi automated machines

2010

 

CGM develops first semi automated plant for the production of cattle/pigs  floor slabs

2011

CGM inverts the commercial strategies starting  developing an international sales network that is now in more then 40 countries in the 5 continents

2012

 

CGM enter the Polish Market with an actual number of more then 60 clients and almost 100 machines working

2013

 

CGM open a production site in Brazil to produce for the local market

2014

 

CGM starts diversifying by producing and selling block machine in order to enter and establish the African market

2015

 

CGM develops the GTB model

2016

 

CGM develops a new project: G block; a patented innovative retaining wall both in terms of building  and product

2018

 

CGM develops the first prototype of the new machines generation

2021

 

CGM launches TC 1700 model, machine designed to overturn heavy duty elements with an heigh of 1650 and with a patented turning system and Smart System for data exchange

2022

 

CGM develops the first semi-automated plant for square manhole using the new machine generation TC1 model
