40 years of history

CGM was founded as a one-man metalworking company in 1962 by our founding partner Cavazzuti Francesco.
In the years to follow, the company started designing and producing machines and moulds for goods manufactured in cement, and in 1972 Cavazzuti recruited two employees, Grilli Luigi and Mariani Pietro. His firm now became a general partnership machine shop specializing in the production of machinery and moulds for goods manufactured in cement.

The company originally worked in the converted ground floor of a house, but as the years passed and orders increased it moved to a purpose-built workshop in 1978. These premises were enlarged in 1993 and continue to be the company's headquarters.
In 1993 the company became a limited company with the incorporation of 2 new partners, while working to continually perfect its operations as always.

CGM products conform to the latest standards, while we continue to create state-of-the-art products and to serve our clients - always.
